Home Furniture, Bedding and Outdoor PTY LTD provides customers with product relevant warranties against defects and/or manufacturing faults under consumer law and in line with the Fair Trading Practises act:Leather upholstery: Home PTY LTD guarantees all 100% leather lounges against defects/manufacturing faults for a period of 10 (ten) years from the date of purchase on foam, foundation and frame. Leather is covered by a 3 (three) year warranty against manufacturing faults. This warranty is applicable providing product has not been misused, used for commercial use (without prior advice) or neglected beyond reasonable expectations as expressed under the Competition and Consumer act 2010.
Fabric upholstery: Home PTY LTD guarantees all fabric lounges against defects/manufacturing faults for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of purchase on foam, foundation and frame. Fabric is covered by a 2(two) year warranty against manufacturing faults. This warranty is applicable providing product has not been misused, used for commercial use (without prior advice) or neglected beyond reasonable expectations as expressed under the Competition and Consumer act 2010. Customer’s please note: Pilling is a natural occurrence in fabric coverings. This can be easily fixed using a basic pilling shaver or machine. Tears or holes in dustcovers are also not covered as part of the warranty. They are not a structural part of the lounge or an exposed fabric, and are used purely for transportation. Should you require dustcover for your lounge, we can put you in contact with upholsterers who arrange dustcover repair and/or replacement. Living ranges (including dining chairs): Home PTY LTD guarantees all Living ranges against structural defects/manufacturing faults for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of purchase. All hardware/fixtures are covered by a 2 (two) year warranty. All fabrics are covered by a 2 (two) year warranty against manufacturing faults. This warranty is applicable providing product has not been misused, used for commercial use (without prior advice) or neglected beyond reasonable expectations as expressed under the Competition and Consumer act 2010 Outdoor Furniture: Home PTY LTD guarantees all Outdoor(Timber) ranges against defects/manufacturing faults for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase. HOME PTY LTD guarantees all Outdoor (Concrete, Wicker or otherwise stated treated timbers) ranges against defects/manufacturing faults for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is applicable providing product has not been misused, used for commercial use (without prior advice) or neglected beyond reasonable expectations as expressed under the Competition and Consumer act 2010. Timber outdoor furniture must be reasonably maintained using oil/and or any treatments advised by your salesperson and on product warranty cards.
