Due to lack of support from the retailers we were forced to open to the public and sell all of our stock at wholesale prices and prepare to close down. Australian manufacturers around us would start to close down. But since the imported products became much cheaper, the retailers would supply less australian made products to the consumers. All of our products were exclusives to retailers only, and not being able to open to the public. We then combined the companies funir and keogh and established the name ozfurn starting the trend with making tasmanian oak furniture and keeping the classic designs from keogh and furnir. We were major suppliers for large retail chains with the likes of the harvey normans, captain snooze, super a-mart, forty winks and many more all over australia. Our factory has been established since 1981 known as the pine factory. Designed by you, hand crafted by qualified cabinet maker and polisher with 15 years experience in furniture manufacturing.
