Firstly we would like to advise that our Queensland Offices and Operations are Open however with the main rail lines to Brisbane closed there are no rail services today and reduced transport activity due to remnant storm damage and localized flooding in Brisbane and Environs. We enjoy your understanding at this time as this is entirely out of our control. Weather conditions have improved slightly, although rain is still forecast through the general area and water levels are still on the rise. So we are waiting on surplus information regarding track ruin plus restoration and resumption of services planning. We will be planning extra shifts and will endeavor to definite the backlogs as soon as we receive your freight and scheduled services are reinstated. We are pleased to endorse that the mainline into Perth has reopened. As already advised, we have a detailed plan to empty and deliver the backlog of freight as soon as we can. We urge you to be patient there is a lot of freight that will be arriving in Perth in a concise amount of time. We will be active all through the weekend, but there will tranquil be delays. We would like to advise that we have received notification from Pacific National that the ARC (Australian Rail Track Corporation) have members of their combined unions who will be taking industrial action over the next week. We now return to the standard Christmas Schedule freight within our system will be migrant as booked, with deliveries occurring between Christmas and the Fresh Year. Areas between Mackay and Townsville are expected to suffer large amounts of rain and many roads will be cut.
