Services

At Revive, we present a variety of services including: Treatment sessions thereafter are billed as standard physiotherapy consultations. Pilates is an exercise method that targets the body's core stabilizing muscles, enhances balanced posture and alignment and helps lessen stiffness and pain often associated with 'the office working environment'. Risk management assessment has been proven to assist in prevention of work related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). An ergonomic workstation assessment will determine the specific needs for every worker. Benefits of a workstation assessment conducted by a physiotherapist: All clients will undergo an initial assessment with a Revive physiotherapist which includes a mealtime ultrasound scan of the deep abdominal muscles. If you are concerned about choosing the right point shoe or find that your point shoes aren’t working for you, we can aid by doing a specific bio mechanical assessment for dancers. Physiotherapists bear a gliding mobilization to release taut joints and relieve the pain, preventing it from becoming a chronic issue. The muscles involved can be too deep to stretch, massage or trigger point alone. At Revive we give Western Acupuncture or arid needling as an adjunct to physiotherapy and massage treatments. Arid needling is an effective way of eliminating trigger points in taut muscles. Dry needling points overlap with customary acupuncture points as approximately 80 per cent of acupuncture points correspond to trigger points in muscles. The clinician will feel an increased resistance to the needle in the area of the trigger point, the needle will then be withdrawn slightly and introduced into the tight band in differing areas along the trigger point producing a twitch response. Arid needling is a very effective method of relieving trigger points. We have one of the scanty Galileo machines in Brisbane. The total body or a portion of the body can be stimulated and trained. Improved muscle strength and performance.
