~ Flavouring ~ Have you ever tried a spots drink with natural flavouring that didn't taste 'natural'? This is because you can't get 'natural' flavouring that is made in a lab from 'natural' ingredients. Pure has an electrolyte blend of sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium to replace electrolytes lost during exercise. We chose to use 'citrates' for our electrolytes in Pure as they are more gentle on the stomach compared to cheaper electrolytes found in a lot of similar products. During exercise we loose electrolytes through sweat and muscle use. Pure has some of the highest amounts of electrolytes compared to similar drinks. ~ Electrolytes ~ Electrolytes are important for the cells in the body to function and allow the body to work. We have formulated just the right amount of carbohydrates and electrolytes so you body can absorb the water and energy as fast as possible. When mixed to the correct amounts Pure is designed to hydrate you faster than water and isotonic beverages. ~ Hydration ~ Pure sits in the hypotonic range of drinks (fastest absorbing). It's also not too sweet compared to other carbohydrate mixes. This combination has Low-GI discomfort compared to other carbohydrates and one of the highest carbohydrate uptakes into your body during exercise, so you get the energy you need faster. ~ Energy ~ After looking at every carbohydrate combination, we chose a specific blend of sucrose and glucose. We use real fruit and that's it.
