At present our congregations meet on sunday (8am, 10am and 6pm) and we in the process of establishing another congregation at bellbowrie. Physically, so we have established three congregations which we are growing to 150 each, our church building can only accommodate about 120 people, based on cell groups. Our cell groups are intentional, on a regular time schedule, of 5-15 people, face-to-face gatherings, with the common purpose of fulfilling jesus' great commandment (matthew 22:37-40) and great commission (matthew 28:19). Everyone associated with the church is part of a cell group and encouraged to attend. Cell groups are central to the way we operate, because we see them as the basic component of christian community, most able to be and to make disciples of the lord jesus christ. We have a thriving ministry to children and youth as well as a sunday school.

Moore Park Baptist is a Church passionate about community making connections with each other and with God that make a authentic difference. We hope this site can help you get a feel for who we are and what we are on about. On Sunday’s there are usually three gatherings, each with its own flavor and feel, generous us strength in diversity we comprehend that no single expression of worship fits all folk in every season of life. I would have to describe myself as a very ordinary man who has lived an extraordinary life. God has blessed me with an outstanding wife (Cali), and great children (grown) including one grandchild. Cali is an notable travel agent and together we have traveled extensively. We have been involved in a variety of different churches, businesses, and church planting scenarios. I have also worked as an international itinerant evangelist in Africa and India. My focus in life is helping people appreciate quiet in their life through a meaningful and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They are encouraged to grow in their knowledge and love of God and in their sense of belonging to our church family. The Boys’ Brigade has a proven track record for reaching out and providing mentoring programs for boys of all backgrounds, abilities interests broadening their horizons and skills with international recognition for their achievements. Churches around the world have Girls’ Brigade groups that meet each week. They are encouraged to seek, serve and trail Christ. Get involved in cooking, puppets or craft. We also have themed or cultural nights, and great MotherDaughter and FatherDaughter nights. Keeping fit, dancing, team games, camping, hiking, canoeing and more. Our leaders assist us to discover what the Bible has to say through laughter activities and stories. Life Groups are a way for people to reach together and construct community within the church but then are a bridge for the church to reach out to the community. This includes ways such as Bible study, prayer, meals and events together. Life groups are also the very beginning avenue of protection for those in need or crisis. Life Groups vary in style and age group to suit the various age groups and people in the church. The are the primary way of doing Christian life together.
