In addition to meaningful energy, resources and project development experience Peter brings extensive experience in designing, implementing and managing corporate governance frameworks, including risk management regimes. Steve’s CEO and Board slick experience includes account abilities for strategic and business planning, financial and commercial management, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, capital raising, compliance and change management. Since 1985 he has worked continuously as a geologist in the mining and exploration industry, accruing over 30 years experience across a range of commodities. Simon is a Mining Engineer and registered Senior Site Executive in Queensland, has more than 18 years’ experience across a range of jurisdictions, including a strong background in operational and executive roles within both mining and contracting entities. This should be reflected in rising bauxite prices to levels healthy above the ordinary bauxite price in recent years. Given the continuing low thick mineral sands prices, the JV has deferred construction of the processing plant to focus on the higher value bauxite project.
