Our Kerb is stronger so there is less chance of a breakage that you could have to repair. This method ensures concrete strength compliance The additional strength offered by Slump Kerb ensures that Kerbs constructed in this manner maintain the long term appearance of a project and largely avoid the ongoing maintenance and appearance problems that are so frequently associated with 'Slurry Over Kerb'. Higher slump concrete allows proper hydration, compaction, steel adhesion & encapsulation. 'Slump Kerb' is much stronger than the more common dry mix 'slurry over Kerb' or hopper Kerb; this is because the concrete is placed at 60 Slump instead of 5 to 10 slump. Our kerb is laid over 100mm high mesh or doweling with a horizontal lace bar to further increase the Kerb's Strength and tie it into the concrete slab. (more).
