Behind establishing Kerdic in 1988, Jim immediately set about growing the business which over the years progressed from a local home builder to a developer of master rehearsed communities. Kerdic’s win has been brought about largely by Jim’s vision to excel in Kerdic’s various fields of endeavor, whether it be building a home or developing a master planned community. The vision also saw the development of a vertically integrated supply chain that included manufacturing key elements for the home (e.g. kitchens, bathroom furniture, baths), to complement the group’s development and construction activities. Jim’s passions are contagious, resulting in a group of companies that firmly share his vision and drive for innovation and excellence. Randi’s outer interests revolve around her family and her dogs. Grant is a long serving member of Kerdic’s team, having been with the company since its inception in 1988. His construction knowledge and experience, his shared passion for excellence and his aptitude to effectively manage the teams of subcontractors and service providers, have been fundamental to Kerdic’s win over the years. One of the original Kerdic employees, Gail manages the finances for the group of companies. Her outside interests include reading, camping and fishing. Sandy (commonly known as Sand) is responsible for the administration and monitoring of Kerdic’s development and construction projects. Her outer interests include running, having completed the 2015 Paris Marathon, and baking cakes. Another long serving member of the Team, Jim’s role includes drafting the plans for our homes and various development projects, from concept to end busy drawings. Jim speaks fluent Cantonese, a ability that is impaired extensively in our communications with our Chinese partners. Ryan oversees Kerdic’s core business, drawing on his extensive experience to manage and drive forward both the development and building arms of Kerdic in Australia. Ryan started his career as a Development and Project Manager earlier focusing predominantly on residential construction. Over the years, he has successfully delivered projects across a multitude of uses, both locally and internationally, including high rise apartments, office parks, shopping centers, land subdivisions, townhouses and project homes. This followed a long career with both MSW and Queensland Governments, primarily in IT areas. He has personal experience in property development, having undertaken his projects including a boutique townhouse project. He also holds a Real Estate license and is a Commissioner for Declarations. He is an avid sports watcher, particularly those in which his children play. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as healthy as English, Carol will be a prized asset to Kerdic in any dealings with our Chinese partners.
