As a modern form of tae kwon do, imt has developed in other areas to give our students a well rounded, practical form of self defence, while keeping the traditional values of the original art. Tae kwon do is a fantastic martial art for people of all ages. Traditional tae kwon do focuses the majority of its training in developing strong kicking ability. Tae kwon do means the way of hand and foot. These are non formal, martial arts based, fun activities for children aged 3+. Tae kwon do is a form of martial arts that originated in korea. Li'l kickers classes from 4pm tuesdays and thursdays. First weeks tuition free.

A couple of years later Mr Cameron handed over this class to Instructor Jason Parker who continued Joseph’s training to achieving his dismal belt in 2001 at the young age of 12. Tony believes the values of discipline, commitment respect that Mae Kwan Do instill in students, are an integral lesson in life. The majority of their early development was by Mr. Walters was an instructor who not only developed their skills to dark belt, but also their strength of character with his potent training regime. The after 3 years, were filled with many great training experiences. In 2001, he achieved this goal behind training and teaching for 6 years since his previous grading. The journey we receive in Martial Arts is a personal one. The Kallangur Club has been established for over 20 years and is considered the 'home' club for the EMT Family, this alone serves as huge motivation to ensure the maximum feasible standard is set for the students of the Kallangur club and the EMT Family. In 2013, he achieved this goal after training and teaching for 5 years since his preceding grading. Along with his Brother Jason who achieved his 4th degree Black Belt in 2010, the Parker Brothers were the first two students to be promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt under the EMT system, an achievement which serves as great motivation to ensure the students who trail continue to strive for perfection. John began training in 2004 with EMT at the age of 36. Some khans still taught the conventional Korean Arts, but other taught martial arts based on Karate and other Japanese arts. Once the student has a solid accepting of these areas, they begin to apply their skills by Sparring. Sparring is a major focus in developing our students. Fitness and strength are also key components in their development towards achieving their Dark Belt. Learning Self defense is one of the main focuses of maximum martial arts systems. As confidence and ability levels grow, we also teach responses that require more understanding and oversee of the human body. Another part of our training for all ranks is Set Sparring. We use camps as an opportunity to teach fresh or advanced techniques or ideas to our students to donate them more accepting of martial arts and to increase to their repertoire of skills. We use tournaments to assist the development of our students sparring and patterns. Using the skills and experience they earnings within our own style, students are also encouraged to compete outside of our own organization in AllStyle martial arts tournaments. Every martial art has a bottom of techniques that a student must learn in order to become competent in the martial way. As the student progresses, they practice new techniques or combination of techniques to assist improve their skills. Each level of grading requires a different set of skills to be demonstrated. We deposit huge importance on having a high standard of Black Belts, and our grading reflect this.
