Founded in 1980, EM Power is an Australian energy company that operates electricity sales and electricity generation businesses. Our Board of Directors have a expansive range of skills and experience that bring value to our company. Georganne was appointed as an autonomous non executive director on 26 October 2016 bringing over 25 years of wholesale and retail energy experience, including extensive industry experience across the energy value chain leading the finance, accounting and other back office operations of lenient to large North American wholesale and retail energy companies. Wayne was reappointed as a director on 1 March 2016, bringing to the business more than 40 years’ experience as a chairman, executive director and non executive director of listed and private companies in Australia and SE Asia across the industrial sector. Wayne has also held global business development roles for divisions of United Technology Corporation (USA). He is responsible for planning, implementing and integrating the strategy for Source which is based in Houston, Texas. Mitch has 24 years of experience in energy retailing and trading across three countries. His roles have ranged from financial analysis to risk management, trading, retail operations, sales and executive management. Michelle has more than 20 years’ experience in media and corporate affairs roles across the energy and financial services sectors. Before to joining EM Power, Michelle was with the top 20 ASXlisted Sun corp Group for eight years during which time she held executive roles in corporate communications and media, investor and government relations. Michelle also brings energy sector experience from her time with Duke Energy in Australia. During this time his roles and responsibilities have covered the whole of EM Power’s business including generation, sales, gas activities, compliance and corporate governance. David tremble joined EM Power in 2007 and leads a team of energy trading and wholesale market specialists who labor with the Business Energy team to deliver electricity to EM Power’s rapidly growing customer bottom across commercial, industrial and ME markets. As one of the largest retailers of electricity in the Australian market, David’s team plays a key role in sourcing competitively priced energy risk management products in the National Electricity Market and the South West Interconnected System and has developed and implemented trading and capital management strategies that have enabled important growth and profitability of the retail business. David has over 15 years’ experience in electricity trading and retailing. Megan is a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience in consulting, government, energy and water utilities leading business strategy, growth and transformation. This role was newly created in 2016, recognizing the strategic importance of integrated energy solutions to EM Power and its customers. Since that time he has held a number of senior roles in business development, generation and trading, Derek has overseen the evolution of these areas in support of EM Power’s business strategy and growth. Steve leads the retailing business in Australia which is responsible for the acquisition, retention and growth of the ME and commercial and industrial customer base. EM Retail was established in 2007 and quickly grew to become the second largest electricity retailer to businesses in Australia with leading customer satisfaction. James has international experience in energy retailing businesses in Australia, the United Kingdom and US markets. A Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability Committee chaired by the CEO assists the Board in setting the policies and processes for compliance with all EM Power’s workplace health and safety obligations and environmental and sustainability matters. EM Power has adopted a Board Charter (which is reviewed and amended from time to time as the Board considers appropriate) to give formal recognition of the Board’s role and responsibilities and to specify how EM Power is governed to urge EM Power and guard the interests of shareholders, employees, customers and the broader community.
