Using positives and a light exposure unit, a logo exposed screen is produced. Ink is then pushed through the screen in the areas where the logo is exposed and onto the product that is being printed. Detail in the print can be excellent, although very nice detail and text smaller than 3mm tall should be avoided as the details can close up during printing due to the ink bleeding or based on the texture of the product. Product textures can impact on print quality and best detail can more easily be achieved on a slick fabric as opposed to a vulgar fabric. This branding process is mainly worn where the logo is too complicated for screen printing since a digital print allows for more color and greater detail. A digital image is printed onto a vinyl surface which is placed onto the product in the required position. The product is then placed in a heat press, and the heat from the press melts the adhesive backing on the vinyl merging it with the fabric. Pad printing is a lofty volume branding process apropos for printing onto insignificant plastic products such as pens, key rings, USB, novelty items, etc. Using positives and a light exposure unit, a logo etched plate is made. This plate is placed into the inkwell of the printing machine and a silicone pad transfers the ink from the plate onto the product. Pad printing allows for a greatest of 4 print colors (depending on the product being printed) which are printed one at a time so accurate registration is essential. Detail in the print can be excellent, although very nice detail and text smaller than 1mm lofty should be avoided as these details can accessible up during the printing process due to the ink bleeding.
