What you should know about Dr Karyn Huntley
I grew up on a dairy farm in northern nsw. I graduated from the university of queensland in 1996 with a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery and subsequently completed my hospital and general practice training. I love family life and love the privilege of watching our children grow and learn. I am married with three young children. I am passionate about general practice and enjoy the challenge and responsibility of assisting patients with all aspects of health maintenance and therapy of illness. I obtained a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and also did one year further training in an acute mental health unit. During this time, mental health, i developed my special interests in women??s health, family health and paediatrics. I understand the challenges of today??s busy life and the pressures associated with juggling busy schedules and lifestyles.
