Strengthening families, supporting people and communities centacare employment group (ceg) primarily provides employment services on behalf of the australian government (department of education, employment and workplace relations). With over 240 staff across the gold coast, logan and ipswich regions, south brisbane, outer north brisbane, north brisbane, sunshine coast, ceg aims to assist the unemployed and underemployed to realise their full potential and unique human dignity through participation in work and activities that are personally meaningful and socially useful. These services include disability employment services (des) and job services australia (jsa) - stream services. As a component of JSA, CEG has also been awarded a place under the Innovation Fund Panel tasked with developing and delivering practical projects especially in disadvantaged communities.Over the years, CEG has added the following services to its portfolio:Psychology Services Queensland (PSQ) - a team of psychologists, intern psychologists and counsellors dedicated to deliver professional counselling services and vocational assessment to eligible job seekers; Skilling Queenslanders for Work - a State funded program providing paid work opportunities on community projects and industry training such as civil construction; and Jobseeker Development Programs - including ex-offender and men's health and wellbeing projects.

With funding from both the Federal and Queensland governments, we are qualified to produce quality services to those in need of a range of services including childcare, support services for the aged and people with a disability as well as relationship education, counseling and support. In this role John brings the perspective of being a Feasible Theologian to help people to reflect theologically on their work and integrating Centacare’s Vision within the work it does. Alana’s experience has allowed her to identify opportunities for successive improvement in both service delivery and the management of services. Brad’s expertise brings to Centacare experience in the use of ACT in delivering social services in a continuously changing sector where technology will be more embedded in the delivery of service offerings and in the urge of Centacare’s clients. Ms Christine Hodge has been Director of Centacare Family Relationship Services for 8 years and during this time Christine has led services that effectively urge families, children and young people to manage the many challenges of family and community life. Being both an educator and manager of Centacare relationship education has allowed Christine to build, encourage and lead professional teams who can labor alongside families, individuals and communities using values based, fastidious and superior practice frameworks. Diane’s focus is having the right people with the right aptitude in the right place at the correct time to provide concern to those we support. Derek suited as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 whilst training at mpg and since that time has held various finance manager and director positions with organizations in Commerce and Industry. During his time with Centacare Derek has been capable to use his extensive financial management and systems experience gained across a varying range of industries to providing financial encourage and services to Centacare. David’s professional experience has been in a variety of roles and industries where his understanding and appreciation of all stakeholders has allowed him to rouse teams and improve operation and process. In his role as Senior Director Community Services, David leads a workforce of 1700 providing leadership, strategic direction and operational oversight of aged care and disability urge services in a rapidly temporary environment led by reform and more informed and empowered clients. Earlier to his current leadership role Stewart held various positions such as support roles, program and service manager within Centacare’s Disability encourage services.
