Piano teacher in residence @ browning street studios sarah gall has been teaching piano for ten years, sharing the art of playing this beautiful instrument with students ranging in age from preschool children to adults. Sarah loves the piano and loves to perform, bringing this passion into her teaching work. In her life as a performer, solo "meditation" on her acoustic grand and has been known to pull out her accordion (and occasionally the trombone) for forays into folk, playing synthesized electro-pop on her digital instruments, sarah moves between genres and keyboard instruments, ska and gypsy music. With a solid grounding in both music history and theory and classical performance, sarah has recently embarked in professional development in child development and music pedagogy, and is soon to complete her phd. Stylistically, sarah embraces an eclectic range of genres and eras with a particular passion for romantic era works and more contemporary styles.
