Situated just 2 kms from Brisbane's CBD, the Victoria Park Golf Complex and Function Venue is an inner city sanctuary combining state of the art golf and function facilities in the one stunning setting. This venue also provides 250 free car parking spaces.
The Function venue boasts 8 unique meeting and function spaces, all with spectacular views of the sparkling city skyline.
The old clubhouse has become the venue's main Ballroom. This room features exquisite crystal chandeliers, marble bar, old style bentwood chairs and magnificent sweeping views of the city from the room's private terrace.
Underneath the Ballroom you'll find the Quartz and Alabaster Rooms. These contemporary designed rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass allowing for uninterrupted city views from all aspects. Both rooms also feature alabaster bars, funky lounge areas and also flow outside to private courtyards and spectacular water features.
Perched at the top of the complex is the venue's stunning, permanent Marquee. The Marquee is fully air-conditioned and also features 5 crystal chandeliers and a private terrace overlooking the lights of Brisbane city.
Next to the Marquee is the Caddy Shack Cafe. By day, the Caddy Shack is open to the public for breakfast and lunch, but by night the Cafe transforms into a casual, al fresco venue perfect for that more relaxed event.
Situated overlooking the grounds of Victoria Park golf course, the Garden Marquee is the latest edition to the function venue. The Garden Marquee features floor to ceiling glass windows and a generous terrace that allows you to enjoy the panoramic views both inside and out.

We have passionate staff that together run over 1,000 individual events, prepare and serve around 150,000 meals, and welcome more than 300,000 people through our gates each year. If you want to enjoy golf then try our 18 hole public Golf Course. Day and night Driving Range or play a round of Putt Putt on our fully licensed course. Our Golf Learning Centre boasts the latest in technology and our team will ensure you play in style with an extensive selection of golf apparel available. With a history as rich and colourful as Queensland’s, the land upon which Victoria Park Golf sits has been: a quarry; a rifle range; the proposed site for Queensland Government House and later for the University of Queensland; an encampment for World War Two American troops; a single men’s refuge and squatters camp – and then a nine-hole municipal golf course and clubhouse opened in 1931.
More than six decades later, Adam Flaskas and Siobhan Bickle, residing in Melbourne at the time, were looking for an ideal location to expand on their love for hitting a few balls on a driving range.
In December 1999 partners Adam Flaskas and Siobhan Bickle, Louis and Mary Bickle, successfully tendered to the Brisbane City Council for the redevelopment, construction and operation of the Victoria Park Golf Complex and the creation of the Victoria Park Function Venue and Caddy Shack Cafe.
Opening the complex in 2002 Adam, Siobhan, Louis and Mary, along with their first employee Allen Hill, ran the golf shop from dawn til dusk where later that year Siobhan also coordinated functions from. They ran the functions single-handedly, with Siobhan and Mary cooking and Adam serving the guests.
With sheer passion, Adam and Siobhan resided onsite with three guard dogs for 6 years in what is now office space.
Victoria Park has continued to grow and evolve under the guidance of the Directors, and is now one of Brisbane’s busiest function & lifestyle venues, with a reputation for quality and diversity. From its conception of 3 employees, Victoria Park now employs 150 full time and casual staff members.
