Conducted by acting teacher Christopher Sommers, these classes cover the essentials of performance for the screen as well as everything you need to know about how the industry works. Christopher teaches for NIDA open Program, La Boite Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre Company, QUT, Backbone Youth Arts, McSweeney/Newman Productions, and Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts. Christopher is the co-founder of Scene-o-rama, a weekly scene class for actors and directors at Griffith Film School. In 2012 he attended masterclasses with Ivana Chubbuck, Ellen Burstyn, Mark Travis. In 2011 he attended masterclasses with Ivana Chubbuck and Larry Moss in Melbourne at 16th Street Studios. In 2009 Christopher attended Master classes in Los Angeles, California at The Ivana Chubbuck Studio and Margie Haber Studios. His Television credits include: Reef Doctors, Monarch Cove(US), The Strip, (US) Sea Patrol, TerraNova, Mabo, The Starter Wife(US) and Love Bytes(Aus/Uk). His Film credits include: Predestination, AFI award winning Unfinished Sky, Singh is King, The Horseman, Jucy, Last Man On Earth, Fatal Honeymoon, Parer’s War, Drive Hard, All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane.
