The Bengal Curry House, first opened it?s doors at Woolloongabba in 1981, a pioneer in Indian cuisine to Brisbane, relocating in 1999 to the beautiful Wynnum foreshore.
The Amen family and staff look forward to seeing you soon. We do not use any artificial flavouring, msg, meat tenderisers or wheat flour to thicken curries. Your meal will be individually prepared to your liking using chicken breast fillet, the finest red meats, tiger prawns or fresh vegetables. Our recipes are created in our kitchen with all our sauces and spice blends prepared in house.
28 years of experience has produced our iconic and delicious cuisine whilst maintaining a fundamental respect for traditional methods and flavour. Recently their son, Sharif has taken the position of head chef and their daughter Mareena is leading the front of house staff in service excellence.
