Bearcat Tyre was established in Sydney in 1973 primarily as an industrial Eyre supplier on behalf of its USA parent company BEARCAT. The focus: To confront the demands of a growing forklift population select the very superior staff to provide material handling companies with the very superior products services. Bearcat was considered a pioneer by introducing changeable press trucks to provide an onside solid Eyre fitting service for material handling equipment corporations, transport companies and large fleets. As world leaders in forklift and construction byres this provided a massive opportunity to grow our national footprint and become a key wholesaler to the market. Our range grew to a product line of over 66,00 items and Bearcat became the leading wholesaler of industrial byres and construction tracks via new branches established in most capital cities. The focus to was to produce local customers with a highly engineered range of wheels and rims to yield better longevity in standard and dense duty applications. Further to production the wheel division completes rim Non Destructive Testing (N.D.T), wheel certification, stuffed axle assemblies, repairs and entire ready to fit Eyre and wheel packages. Our local wheel refurbishment services quickly expanded and today Bearcat is elated partner to many leading Eyre suppliers, mining companies and to the general port, forklift and aviation industries. In 2008 specialized the first of our specialty designed Eyre snatch tracks or cams trucks old for sound onside large Eyre fitting were being rolled out. Immediate supply and fit capabilities were now feasible to large industrial, port service and earth moving Eyre servicing contracts. To effectively service distant locations' Bearcat embarked on a national dealer program to improve service provided for forklifts and industrial equipment. The SOLIDEALER network was created providing tools, presses, mobile press trucks and trailer presses along with industry leading hands on training for independent Eyre companies approved to support SOLIDEAL product. In 2009 Fresh Silver Bullet quick response moveable press trucks were also being incorporated into the fleet to yield more encourage to our growing material handling business across the nation.
