We are a membership association for Dentists in Queensland. It is not mandatory to unite but about 90 of registered Queensland Dentists and dental specialists choose to be members. We bear a range of Member services and benefits including member support, practice support, professional indemnity insurance, dental staff training, recruitment, CPD and other events. ADAQ Members are dentists and dental specialists from a variety of backgrounds who work across the private and public sectors. Dental hygienists, dental therapists, oral health therapists, dental assistants and dental technicians have their own associations and are not eligible for membership of the Australian Dental Association. Members are encouraged to view the recent video An overview of your obligations. The Practice Services team supports ADAQ Members is all areas of dental practice ownership, management and operation. ADAQ provides specialized assistance with all areas of Dental Practice Accreditation. Practice Urge Services offers routine and customized communication to participants going through the process of Accreditation as healthy as offering updates, state specific resources, workshops and seminars. Practice Advantage is an extra subscription service offering exclusive, specialized practice management support, advice and assistance to ADAQ Members and their nominated staff. Subscription is specifically designed for ADAQ Members who: Are looking to increase the compliance and efficiency of an existing practice. Have a general interest in dental practice management and are looking to amplify their knowledge in compliance requirements. The ADAQ Practice Support service provides ADAQ Members with access to personalized assistance within all areas of their dental practice. Dental Practice Accreditation policy development and implementation. Infection handle seminars and assistance with implementation and staff training. Our aim is to support ADAQ Member Dentists by training their dental teams to the maximum possible standards. Our training provides current, pertinent qualifications and utilizes the knowledge and aptitude of dental professionals in training delivery. Training is offered in a variety of modes to face the requirements of students in each qualification. Qualifications are labor based and students must be employed by a dental practice while studying. Feeforservice trainee ships are also available for Certificate II in Dental Assisting. ADAQ works in professional relationship with the University of Fresh England Partnerships (UNEP) to enable dental staff access to practice management qualifications.

The Society's practice was to have an Annual Conference at the alike time as the Annual Meeting, two to three days being allotted to papers, clinics and discussions.
