She believes in the multifaceted benefits of learning dancing and urges students to follow the difficult but thoroughly worthwhile path of dance in whatever way they choose. She is currently dancing professionally in Brisbane, both corporate and events, and trains locally and internationally to extend her skills and choreography. Singing teacher Chrissy Borden has been teaching and singing professionally around Brisbane and abroad for the last 15 years. Chrissy is highly experienced in teaching all styles of Musical theater and Contemporary singing to all ages and levels, and is fully qualified with a Bachelor of Music, and Masters of Music (Voice Major) from UT. Trained as an Art, Dance and History teacher Arabella works at tall schools during the week and extends her own skills in dance at the studio. Arabella loves teaching dance and acrobatics encouraging students to challenge themselves and extend their range of skills. Ge first joined the AD team 5 years ago and has brought with him a assets of experience gained from over 30 years of gymnastic and acrobatic teaching and over 10 years active as a professional acrobatic performer. Ge's technical and performance skills have strongly assisted AD's students with their tumbling and balancing skills as well as helping develop their overall flexibility and core body strength. Urban Ignition is a fresh syllabus with strength and 'lava'. The syllabus provides a technical base in hip hop with a potent style element and room for creative solo and crew choreography. This translates to ease of movement and a greater range and fluidity of movement than conventional dance techniques. Classes commence with spinal warm up and foot articulation, then progress to swings, brushes and movement across the floor, prior moving to more expressivelyricaldynamic sequences. These laughter classes focus on developing our very own All That Dance Singing Stars with full training in singing techniques, harmony work, and vocal performance skills. These classes join the excitement of gymnastic tricks with music and dance. Each week students work to gain strength and flexibility and spend time with a gymnastics coach and dance teacher, occupied on tumbling tricks and flips, as well as partner and group lifts. Yoga allows us to work with our bodies, not against them, and it allows us to concentrate on the inward, not only the outward, expression of movement. During yoga classes at All That Dance, every effort is made to convey the safe and classical alignment points of postures. We begin off ensuring the spine is hot and core activated, prior moving into flowing standing sequences, and rounding off with tranquility postures. And students are still able to attend classes until the last of Term 4 regardless of concert participation. Customary class attendance is vital for students to keep abreast of their syllabus work. In the 'lead up' to examinations, private lessons are available to students from their respective teachers and can be booked at the studio. It is the responsibility of the student, parents guardians to notify the teacher in the event of an injury or medial condition earlier to class. Teachers and staff are not responsible for students exterior their allocated class time. It is the responsibility of the parent guardian to ensure their student does not wait outer the building.
